"During the first nine months of 2011, Fred and Mark took on the very considerable project of rebuilding completely, my somewhat run-down 1962 bungalow and turning it into a very fine, modern and attractive chalet house.

The work was accomplished with the greatest cheerfulness and efficiency throughout and i was highly impressed by the way in which the guys tackled my more unusual design features, notably a ducted hot-air system from the wood-burner recess in the lounge, serving all three bedrooms.

The end result is fabulous and is greatly admired by all who come to visit and stay.

There have been very few, very minor points which have needed rectification following completion, but these have all been dealt with, with the Davies's characteristic speed and efficiency.

All in all, a most satisfactory job.

Work brief- single storey ground floor extension, addition of a bedroom and an en-suite bathroom. Install radiator heating.

Fred and Mark spent time with us prior to us making a decision to go ahead with the project, discussing the build options. They offered suggestions and asked for clarification on a number of points, ensuring we would get the design and finish we wanted. They gave us a starting date and a timescale, and the build was completed within the quoted time.

The project was started on the agreed date, and good progress was made even though the weather was not kind to us. We werekept informed throughout as to what parts of the build would be carried out and in what order.The quality of the materials used throughout was excellent, and both the internal and external finishings are of a very high quality. The few unforseen problems that did occur during the build were managed by Fred and Mark with knowledge and enthusiasm, and they made sure that we were made aware of any changes. (The Building Control Inspector passed all the work on his first site visits.)

The quote at the start of the project was thorough and included all the particular points we had discussed during their initial visit.

We are delighted with the extension. The quality of the work is first class, and as good as we have experienced from the previous work they have carried out for us. The whole experience has been remarkably stress free.

Fred and Mark were excellent, and from their initial visit, throughout the build and beyond they always made themselves easy to contact, and were quick to respond if we ever had any concerns or questions. They ensured that any delays were minimal. They were extremely conscientious in their work, hardworking, always paying great attention to detail, reliable, trustworthy, courteous, punctual and tidy in their work. The house and garden were cleared of all rubbish and debris on a regular basis. Since the completion of the project any issues that have occured have been quickly rectified, and they are very willing to return should anything untoward happen in the future.

We would not hesitate to recommend Fred and Mark to anyone looking for someone to manage their building project. They take great pride in their work, with customer satisfaction being of paramount importance to them.
